The Marbridge Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees announces the newly named CoAct Project™, a national leadership symposium for post-secondary providers which brings together thought leaders, organizations and like-minded professionals in the field of intellectual disability. This year will serve as the 5th annual symposium of its kind at Marbridge, with participation among attendees and speakers growing annually. Together we discuss challenges, establish best practices, and strengthen relationships so that we may better serve these individuals and their families.

This year’s symposium will include networking breakfast, lunch and dinners on each day to allow for maximum opportunities to engage in meaningful conversation about our work. We welcome each organization to bring program brochures to be included on our resource table to be shared with attendees.

On Friday, April 28th, the Coalition for Community Choice (CCC) will host their spring meeting at Marbridge, and have extended an invitation to interested symposium participants to attend the gathering. The CCC is an alliance of organizations, businesses, and housing professionals that strive to meet the housing and employment demand for an array of life options for those with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Please contact the National Coordinator if you would like to attend and are not yet part of the network: [email protected].

If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Scott McAvoy at [email protected], or by calling Marbridge at 512-282-1144 to request more information.
