Housekeeping

Marbridge is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of our residents by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Manager and plays a vital part in helping residents thrive and reach their full potential.

Shift Available:

  • 6 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
  • 2 PM – 10 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay and Benefits:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a commercial housekeeper or custodian
  • Knowledge of OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards and proper handling procedures

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and sitting for extended periods
  • Normal range of hearing and vision required
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide housekeeping services for resident rooms, laundry rooms, offices, and common areas
  • Perform routine deep cleaning of bathrooms, carpets, vents, windows, blinds, walls, and doors
  • Prepare rooms for newly admitted residents
  • Remove trash and maintain dumpster receptacles
  • Strip, wax, and buff tile floors as scheduled
  • Maintain equipment and supplies within budget guidelines
  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards promptly
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and other required activities
  • Support organizational activities as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
