We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support our residents’ health and well‑being in all three of our communities. This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and physicians to provide high‑quality nursing care, manage medications, and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities include receiving and documenting physician orders, overseeing medication administration, conducting monthly health checks, and communicating changes in resident conditions. The RN will also train staff, ensure compliance with state regulations, and support ongoing health and safety education for both staff and residents.

Shift

Thursday & Friday: On-call from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday: On-call from 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, and an 8-hour on-site shift each day

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess a current Texas Registered Nurse License and be in good standing
  • Must have a BLS certificate from an in-person class
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Texas Driver license
  • Must meet MVR matrix requirements
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred
  • Experience with the IDD population preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing coverage, supervision, audits, and emergency response for Assisted Living and Villa operations
  • Complete resident assessments (comprehensive, fall, NTG) and triage injuries or changes in condition.
  • Deliver timely, professional nursing care and implement physician orders.
  • Review labs/tests, follow up as needed, and maintain accurate eMAR documentation.
  • Communicate resident conditions changes with nursing leadership, families, and designated contacts.
  • Provide basic nursing care including vital signs, wound care, treatments, and specimen collection
  • Assist residents with ADLs as needed
  • Supervise and support CNAs, CMAs, Resident Trainers, and other delegated staff
  • Participate in care planning, staff training, and other assigned duties
