We are currently seeking a Cook to join our Dietary Team. This position plays a key role in helping provide meals for our residents, guests, visitors, and staff.

Shift Available
- Sunday to Wednesday, 8 AM – 6:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Ensure kitchen operations comply with HHSC standards and food safety regulations
- Prepare and serve food that meets IDDSI guidelines, maintaining quality, appearance, nutritional value, and safe temperatures
- Inspect, receive, store, and organize food and supplies; assist with truck deliveries (M/W/F)
- Follow posted menus and accurately document any required changes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining room, and equipment
- Assist cooks with food preparation and tray line service as needed
- Support dietary aide functions, including table setup, bussing, dishwashing, restocking, and preparing drinks/snacks
- Assist residents in the dining room to ensure a positive and respectful meal experience
- Train resident employees on assigned tasks and food service duties
- Participate in other dietary and organizational activities as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor
