Attendees are invited to visit with special needs service providers, listen to industry experts, and receive educational materials to consider the best routes for providing for well-being of your loved one.

10-10:45 Julia Nickerson- Julia Nickerson Law Firm
“When it’s time to decide, ‘Who’ will be my guide?”- Julia will discuss the differences between guardianship, POA, and Supported Decision Making Agreements
11-11:45 Marbridge Family Panel
“Let Go and Let Fly, Mom and Dad, it’s My Time!”- The parents will discuss handling the emotions associated with a special needs child leaving home
12-12:45 James Williams-Bloom Consulting
“Left Foot, Right Foot, Put Your Best Foot Forward” – James will address skills to practice at home in preparation for transition to a residential community or independent living arrangement
