Each summer, Marbridge opens our campus for Summer Camp, nine weeklong sessions designed specifically for individuals age 16-30 with cognitive challenges. Our camp program is a great opportunity for campers and their families to experience what Marbridge has to offer—a transition to a more independent lifestyle.
Campers sleep in an air-conditioned bunkhouse and enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, hiking, horticulture, team development, and horseback riding, all adapted to match their interests, skills, and ages. Throughout the week, our dedicated, experienced staff offers positive reinforcement for the progress that each individual makes in problem solving, interpersonal communications, self-assurance, and independent living tasks.
Parents be warned – our camp is addicting! Many campers come back year after year, and many of our long-term residents are alumni of our Summer Camp program. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and always sell out. Sign up quickly to ensure that your camper gets a spot!

As you can see here, our miniature donkey is quite friendly. Horses are some of the other animals campers can see and enjoy during Summer Camp.
